Rental Costs, Bond & Terms Explained

We believe in transparent pricing with no hidden fees. Hiring a portable cabin is a cost-effective alternative to paying rent on a full property or financing a home extension.

Minimum Rental Period

Our standard minimum rental period is 6 months.

We structure it this way to keep our weekly rental rates as low as possible. Short-term hires (e.g., 2 weeks) incur significant transport and setup overheads that essentially double the cost, which is why we focus on long-term stability for our clients.

Many of our customers start with a 6-12 month term and then extend on a month-by-month basis. There is no maximum limit - you can keep the cabin for as long as you need!

Bond & Upfront Costs

To secure a cabin, we typically require:

• Bond: A refundable security bond of $1,700.
• Delivery Fee: Usually FREE for eligible areas (saving you ~$950).
• Rent in Advance: typically 2 weeks rent in advance.

The bond is fully refundable at the end of your tenancy, provided the cabin is returned in the same clean condition (minus fair wear and tear) and the lease terms have been met.

End of Lease

When you are ready to return the cabin, we simply require one month's notice.

You will need to clean the cabin thoroughly before pickup. We provide a comprehensive Cleaning Guide to help you get your full bond back. Our team will come, disconnect the stairs and deck, and tow the cabin away.
