Yes — delivery and pickup at the end of your lease are both included at no extra cost, provided you complete your agreed lease term. If you end the lease early (before 6 months), a flat delivery fee of $950 applies to cover our extra admin and transport costs.

A $1,700 refundable bond is held as a security deposit for the duration of your lease. It is returned in full at the end of your lease, provided the cabin is returned in the same condition it was delivered (fair wear and tear excepted).

You can upgrade from the standard toilet to an Incinolet electric incinerating toilet for an additional $10/week. It's 100% waterless — it plugs into a power point and incinerates waste to a small amount of ash, so no plumbing or drainage is required. This is ideal for off-grid or remote sites. Rent is calculated and charged on a weekly basis, you can make your payments as frequent as you like as long as you remain in advance. Payments can be made by direct bank transfer or direct debit.

For residential use, GST does not apply to the weekly rental. If you are using the cabin for commercial purposes, GST must be added to the quoted prices. If you're unsure which applies to your situation, please contact us.

Yes — you can extend your lease at any time. If you started on a 6 or 12-month rate and commit to a new longer term, your weekly rate adjusts to the lower pricing tier going forward. Just get in touch with us to arrange it.

We require 4 weeks' written notice to end your lease, during which time payments must continue. Once your notice period is over we'll arrange a time to pick up the cabin. Your bond is refunded after pickup, once the cabin has been inspected.

From us, the weekly rent and refundable bond are the primary costs. The only additional fees that may apply are:

• $950 early termination fee if you break the lease agreement.
• +$10/week for an incinerator toilet
• Damage repair costs if the cabin is returned with damage beyond fair wear and tear

Other costs to factor in (not charged by us) include:

• Power: You supply your own 15 amp extension leads from your switchboard. Standard outlets are 10 amp — you may need a 15 amp outlet installed by an electrician, or use a 10-to-15 amp adaptor (e.g. Ampfibian). The cabin has two inlets: one for the air conditioner, one for lights, power points & hot water.
• Water: Simply connect a garden hose from your house tap to the cabin inlet — no plumber required. A drinking-water rated hose is recommended for better taste.
• Waste / greywater: The cabin's waste outlet connects to your existing sewer or septic tank access point. If the sewer point is uphill or far away, a macerator pump (e.g. Saniflo) may be needed — we can discuss this during your enquiry.
