How the Hire Process Works

2. We assess your site. Our team confirms access, placement, and whether your property can accommodate the cabin size you're after.
3. Delivery and setup. We transport the cabin to you on a tilt-tray truck and position it using our own equipment. You arrange a licensed electrician to connect power.
4. Start using your room. That's it. No months of construction. No tradespeople traipsing through your house for weeks.
5. Return when you're done. When your circumstances change, we collect the cabin and your yard goes back to exactly how it was.

Do I Need Council Approval for a Portable Room?

This is the question we get asked most often. The short answer: in most cases, no. Because our cabins are registrable as caravans (not permanent structures), they generally fall outside the planning controls that apply to building extensions and granny flats.
