What makes it different from a standard caravan hire?

A typical hire caravan gives you a bed and a tiny kitchenette. That's about it. Our cabins have a full bathroom with a proper shower, a real kitchenette, reverse-cycle air conditioning, and enough floor space to actually furnish. Think studio apartment, not camping van.

They sit on wheels and are classified as caravans, so there are no council approvals or DA applications needed. We deliver, connect water and waste, and you're in. And when you're done, we pick it up. No builders. No demolition. No fuss.

Who is this a good fit for?

• Home renovations. Australian spending on residential alterations hit $3.7 billion in late 2025 (ABS). More families are doing major works than ever, and living through it is rough. • New house builds running over time. The Housing Industry Association reports build timelines have blown out by six months or more on average. That's a long time to be in a rental. A cabin on your block costs less and keeps you close to the action.
• Flood or insurance events. The Insurance Council of Australia recorded over 30 declared catastrophe events in Australia in the past five years. How does caravan classification work in NSW?

Under the NSW State Environmental Planning Policy (Housing) 2021, putting a caravan on a residential property is classified as Exempt Development. No DA. No council permit. In most residential zones, you just don't need them. That's the biggest practical difference between hiring a cabin and building a granny flat.

Pricing and availability
